NUOVO announces its final exhibition of 2024, featuring the internationally renowned designer Bethan Laura Wood. This solo show is made up of a curated selection of works from Nilufar, the renowned Milanese collectible design gallery founded by Nina Yashar in 1979, and cc-tapis, the Italian rug maker which produces contemporary hand-made rugs. A graduate of the Royal College of Art, London-based Wood is known for her vibrant, material-focused work and collaborations with leading brands that include Dior and Perrier-Jouët. Her designs have been acquired for the permanent collections of prestigious museums, notably the V&A, SFMOMA and NGV. In the exhibition, Nilufar, which has proudly represented Wood’s work since 2010, offers standout pieces created through her ongoing collaboration with Nina Yashar, including signature creations such as the Ornate Wall Lamps (2021), the Meisen Cabinets (2021), the Bon Bon Ceiling Lamp (2021) and the Kiwi Mirror (2024), all of which showcase Wood’s distinctive design philosophy.
