Transforming abstract ideas into physical objects, artists and designers often let their work to speak for itself. Self-made presents a rare glimpse into the thoughts, stories, experiences, observations and feelings of six emerging artists: Brent Warr, Brecht Wright Gander, James Shaw, Pierre Castignola, Tim Teven and REM Atelier. Their works on display enable us to peel back the layers of creativity and craftsmanship behind their remarkable works, offering a lens into the pride of making and the power of autonomy as an artist.
