PlayGround 2024 Collection
PlayGround 2024 is characterised by its freshness and contemporaneity, transforming the kitchen into a welcoming and inviting space to spend quality time. The project introduces new slim shelving, alternated with glass cabinets, and doors made of micro-perforated sheet metal to promote air circulation, in an interesting combination of materials. Handles and drawers, arranged freely at different heights, provide dynamism and become distinctive details of contemporary style.
A prominent role is played by lighting: a refined element that contributes to creating an inviting atmosphere, thanks to white ceramic lamps that add a touch of brightness and warmth.
PlayGround 2024 features a distinctive matte green GV lacquered finish and light oak, with an elegant Avocatus natural quartzite countertop, echoing the handles, real gems embedded in a metal support. The project also allows for customisation: the elements can be freely combined to create a unique space each time, suitable to meet the most diverse needs.
For the Casa Elmar setup, the inspiration was to create a space that was more than just a place but a manifesto of intentions, an expression of the desire to explore. The architects transformed the over 300 environments into a multifunctional space, characterised by large windows and natural light, in a continuous dialogue between interior and exterior. The aim was to create a versatile environment, a creative laboratory to experiment and discover new ways of living: in a carefully outlined path, visitors can discover the six main compositions of Elmar kitchens.
With this project, Ludovica Serafini and Roberto Palomba have met Elmar's desire to redefine the concept of living: "This year's Casa Elmar setup brings the kitchen world closer to the furniture world, in the sense that the convivial kitchen implies that it is inserted into a convivial space, generally the living room. But for the kitchen to speak with the living room, its furniture, proportions, its materials must be even more integrated with the world of furniture. For this reason, we moved away from a technical world and, with the new setup, told a domestic world where technology exists but without being intrusive."
Indeed, within the space, the exclusive AEG Experience Area has been created, dedicated to showcasing the appliances of the German brand AEG.
